The original idea behind the development of Waver (design by Konstantin Grcic) was to liberate the design from the conventions of familiar chair typologies: the new aesthetic of this swivel armchair draws on material properties and structural principles from the realm of outdoor sports. Hans J. Wegners three-legged shell Chair CH 07 produced by Carl Hansen & Søn.was originally introduced in 1963. A few limited series were produced, but the project soon came to a stand still. The 90s brought a growing interest in chairs of more individual designs.

Chair Barcelona by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Produced by Knoll. The Barcelona chair was exclusively designed for the German Pavilion, Germany's exhibition for the Barcelona World Fair of 1929.

The design resulted from collaboration between the famous Bauhaus architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and his longtime partner and companion, architect and designer Lilly Reich, whose contributions have only recently been acknowledged.

The AJ Table Lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen, among other lighting fixtures, for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The AJ Table Lamp is on the same principles as the AJ floor, but due to the useability as a working desk lamp the shade has been expanded. The base of the table lamp was originally intended to accommodate an ashtray but now contributes solely to the design. The lamp is produced by Louis Poulsen.
